Damson Girls Do is a series celebrating amazing women from our global community who have embraced pursuits that allow them to disconnect from the digital noise and reconnect with themselves and the world around them.
Our series continues with musician, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Luna Li, who is sharing her love of music with us. From growing up in a musical family to finding inspiration in learning, exploring and creating, we’re getting to know the artist behind the sound.
“Hi! I’m Luna Li 🙂 I’ve teamed up with Damson Madder to share my love of music with you ♫⋆。♪₊˚♬゚。I’ve been playing music since I was 5 years old, and grew up in a musical family. My moms run a music school together in Toronto and I was lucky to get to take lessons there all throughout my childhood, trying out many different instruments along the way. I started writing my own music at 12 and haven’t looked back. I still feel I have so much to learn. Challenging myself to dive deeper, write more honestly, or learn a new musical concept inspires me to keep exploring and creating. I love how music connects us together in a way that nothing else can, and how it continues to hold and heal me as I move through different chapters of my life”
