Blue silk taffeta dress made for team Olivia Rodrigo this summer during the very hottest heatwave
I had to wear my swimmers and lie down on the concrete floor downstairs between sewing the seams
It didn't make the final edit for the marvellous Daisy Chain Fields 🌧 which is actually super good news for the dress🌤so now I can release and make them for everyone🌞🪡 I can't wait to make the dreamy sheer organza one and the ivory one extra for wedding days

Silk Bramble dress 🪡 cut and made by hand inspired by the wild blackberries on the Tottenham Marshes🌿sweet, abundant, resilient, juicy and scratchy, they are delicious and unkillable they will always grow free and delicious
When we got married we picked 20kg and my brother made it into a gigantic vat of wild wine for the wild party 🍷

I make up these dresses up as I go along freestyle cutting the ruffles by hand from my treasured collection of vintage silks. I want to make them as far away from a mass produced thing as it's possible to be ✂️ there's only enough of this colour of the sheer shot silk for 2 dresses✂️✂️ the colour is rich and deep like a Bramble cocktail
