Ona Kimono Vintage textiles showroom specializing in Kimono and Japanese fabrics. Onakimono is a showroom for vintage and antique Japanese textiles.

All of our pieces are individually priced and on sale to become part of your own collection. All of our kimonos are vintage and date up to the 1920s. We specialise in the traditional Japanese Meisen technique that was popular for Kimonos in the latter Meiji period (1868-1910). Meisen silk is recognisable by its ikat-style weave that creates a charming feathered edge around the design. To view a cl

Carefully chosen by a team with a passion for print and an eye for colour, each kimono displays a unique beauty through colour, pattern and master Japanese craftsmanship. All of our kimonos are carefully checked over on arrival and any damage is recorded and noted in the sales listings. Although most of our kimonos are in perfect condition, some have minor flaws due to their age which have been recorded and noted for your consideration.

We are donating a beautiful 1950’s kimono to charity sale in aid of raising funds for
and their Ukraine Appeal. See below for all the
information 🇺🇦❤️ We got our photos in a little late so the kimono isn’t included in this post, but will post separately now on our feed! The sale is this Sunday.

If you’re able to donate anything for the Ukrainian Appeal fundraiser then do get in touch. 🇺🇦

We need good photos of your item, as much information as possible, the price you’d be happy for us to sell at (I am not running an auction as the sale is happening on Instagram and so will be offering reduced but fixed prices. If you’re able to contribute more than the selling price your donation would be extremely welcome) a bit of info about you and an idea of postage.

I am asking people to hold on to their items at this stage now and posting directly to the buyer.
I’m in the process of gathering all the info and imagery and uploading ahead of the sale.

It’s going to be great fun, with some fabulous items.

All proceeds are going to the British Red Cross Ukrainian Appeal who are providing shelter, food, warm clothes, water and medicine to those in need. 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
