On June 20th I dressed my dear friend Kari Sherman Kari Sherman | Pilates for 45+ Men & Women for her wedding. My words cannot express how honoured I felt.
I truly love what I do, and my dresses reflect exactly how I want a woman to feel: elegant, comfortable, and feminine. But having a friend choose one of them for HER DAY was a whole other level for me.
I love my collection, and I can picture my dresses everywhere, but somehow, I didn’t feel good enough to dress a bride — especially such a dear friend. I was so scared. I asked her a hundred times if she was sure about her choice, and every single time, to my surprise and fear, the answer was yes. She was sure.
We tried it on a couple of times, and throughout the whole process she was so easy and relaxed.
And then the day came.
It was in a cute little chapel in the countryside, where her now-husband’s father had studied. I went to the house to help her get dressed — another immense honour.
After a couple of surprises that I may one day share with you, she was ready. And she was beautiful. And so happy.
She entered the church holding her bouquet in one hand, with the other casually tucked into her pocket. I couldn’t believe it.
I spent the whole ceremony filled with love and tears, seeing both of them so immensely happy. What a perfect, fun, and adorable couple.
My dear Kari, may God and the spirits of light bless you, your husband, and your now big and amazing family.
May He allow the sparkle that was in your and Andy’s eyes that day never to fade, not even a tiny bit. May your days be filled with love, health, and joy, today and always.
Thank you for choosing me to be part of such a beautiful and blessed chapter of your story.
All my love to all of you,
Renata
