👗 Stunning fuschia pink 1970s Robert Dorland maxi dress.

With decorative covered buttons down the front bib, and a p***y bow at the neck.
Partially lined.
Sheer, flared sleeves.
Long concealed zip and hook and eye fastening at the back.
Excellent vintage condition.
Would look beautiful with heels or give it a modern twist with chunky trainers.

In stunning lime green, and decorative front 'pockets' with perfect button details.
Flattering crimpolene fabric; doesn't crease easily at all, nice thickness for the transitional seasons.
Long zip back.

Excellent vintage condition.

📏 Labelled UK 12, but vintage sizing so better suited to modern UK 8.

Gorgeous dopamine hit from Diane Freis; 100% silk floral dress in jewel tones, with elasticated drop waist.
Wide matching belt.
Beautiful, flattering double flutter short sleeves.
Scalloped neckline edged in sapphire blue.
Pull-over style.
Lightly padded shoulders as a nod to the 1980s era and adds structure to the dress.
Slits and wide pleats along the hem of the dress gives a lot of movement.
Covered buttons at the back.
No size label; fits up to UK 14.
Feels so lovely on, and looks just stunning.

Beautiful 1960s scarlet red maxi dress by Peterson Maid of London.
Partially lined.
Gentle roll-neck.
Matching covered faux buttons all down bodice.
Matching velvet red bow at waistband.
Gorgeous sheer sleeves and big block cuffs with covered buttons.
Long zip at the back.
Hook-eye fastening at neck and on bow at the back will need replacing. Excellent condition for the age of this beauty.
Just a stunning dress, stunning cut.
No size label: fits UK 10.

Currently sporting a snuggly throw with a cosy sweater my sis bought me few years back (we caved and turned the heating on - for one room - this morn).

Just seen a post from this morn, and it's reminded me another positive and proactive way to motivate ourselves to delve into our wardrobes more ♻️:
💡💰 Keep in mind the cost per wear; how much you paid for an item vs how many outings it's had so far. Even if you got the item preloved or in the sales...if it's only being worn less than a couple of times year, then that's not that 'cheap'.

I know many of us already know it, but I found it a useful reminder so thought I'd share.
Especially with how things have been going this year, it's worth that extra rummage to rediscover garments you may have overlooked before 💚

EDIT TO ADD: and not to guilt or shame - but hopefully have fun revisiting, restyling 'old' outfits 👗
