Denby Burlington Handled Vase

1950's Monochrome large vase or jug from Denby's 'Burlington' range (style BN 839) designed by Albert Colledge. Horizontally ribbed black body with vertical dotted lines picked out in white dripped glaze create a wonderful, textural contrast to the plain white neck, handle and foot.

Marked "Denby Stoneware, Made in England" on base.

G-Plan Oval Coffee Table

Iconic Mid Century G-Plan coffee table designed in 1969 by VB Wilkins, with red label present on underside of frame.
Often mistaken for the Astro Coffee Table (which has more 'spidery' legs), these tables were part of the Fresco range and were produced throughout the 1970's.
Teak with inset touchened glass top (newly replaced.) In good original condition, minimal signs of wear / sun bleaching.

Traditional Japanese red over black lacquer shallow bowl with wide curved rim. Maker's monogram in Japanese seal script to base. Probably late 20th Century Shōwa period.

Excellent condition with just two small chips to rim. Damage doesn't detract from the beauty and tactility of this stunning piece.

Wedgwood Moonstone Vase

The most classically styled and elegantly useful vase for flowers, especially these faded tulip beauties. The ivory white Moonstone glaze was developed by Norman Wilson for Wedgwood in the 1930's, it is eggshell smooth and beautifully tactile on this fluted form.
