Not sure about you but I simply love the winter solstice.βοΈ I always feel that if I can get through the darkest day of the year, everything will just get better! And isn't this a welcome thought after the year we had?
Even the celestial bodies are throwing a special event for us with something that hasn't been seen so clearly since 1226 - a Christmas Star!π
For the geeky ones interested in the details, this is when Jupiter and Saturn are set to cross paths in the night sky, coming very close to one another and giving the impression to the naked eye of a double planet.
So get your your mulled wine ready and get outside as soon as the sky is going dark (weather permitting) as the planets will be setting in the southwest.
Happy stargazing everyone and here's to happier, brighter and lighter days ahead!β¨π«π₯
