Tonight, there will be magic in the sky.
As the moon passes across the sun, the light will shift, birds will pause and, for a few extraordinary moments, the familiar world around us will look and feel a little different.
For thousands of years, humans have looked to the skies to understand the world around them. The movements of the sun, moon and stars have shaped ancient rituals, marked the seasons, guided planting and harvests and connected us to rhythms far greater than our own.
Eclipses have long been seen as powerful thresholds. A pause between what has been and what comes next. In astrology, tonight’s eclipse falls in Leo, the sign of the heart, courage, creativity and self-expression. A celestial portal for letting go of what no longer fits and making space for something new.
There is something rather wonderful about surrendering, just for a moment, to that possibility.
Because nature is full of transformation. Day into night, waxing and waning, growth and rest, one season giving way to another. Across years, centuries and aeons, everything is in motion.
So tonight, look up. Marvel at the skies. Make a wish, set an intention, shed an old skin. And remember that we are not separate from these great cycles of nature. We are part of them.
