From earth to elegance.
The world’s finest sapphires are mined in regions known for exceptional colour and crystal quality, including Sri Lanka, famous for luminous royal blue stones, Madagascar, celebrated for vivid saturated blues, Kashmir, renowned for its rare velvety cornflower blue sapphires, and Australia, known for producing deeper inky blue tones.

High quality sapphires are typically mined either through traditional artisanal methods in river gravels or through carefully controlled open pit and underground mining. The aim in both cases is to extract the crystal with minimal damage so its natural brilliance can shine.

When it comes to value, colour is everything. The most prized blue sapphires display a rich, vivid blue with strong saturation and excellent clarity. The ideal stone is neither too dark nor too light, but perfectly balanced in tone, allowing light to return beautifully through the facets.
