When I moved to England, I was terrified. I felt like I’d never be able to create the way I did in Mexico. I kept making excuses — we don’t have space, where am I going to put the sewing machines? A million things were running through my mind, but it was just my insecurities talking. Everything was so new: the language, the people, everything.
