How do you get kids into golf?

Putting courses like the Himalayas at are a great way to introduce youngsters to the game.

But as points out, the mistake many make is do dumb the game down in an attempt to make it easier.

Golf’s supposed to be hard. And people who give up because it’s too hard are@never going to be golfers anyway…

This week’s guest has packed a lot into her Golfing Life. .golfer was a child prodigy, a Sunningdale Foursomes winner, a Curtis Cup player, a tour pro and a mum. After a decade without so much as touching a golf club, she’s returned to the game at the age of 40 with a plan to quality for the AEG Women’s Open at Royal Lytham.

Today would have been the 69th birthday of Seve Ballesteros - the golfer who inspired us to fall in love with the game in the first place.

Seve loved Augusta. He was the first European to win the tournament in 1980, triumphed again in 1983, and had 8 top 10 finishes between his first win and 1990.

So as the eyes of the golfing world turn to Georgia, we invite you to enjoy a special Seve episode of This Golfing Life, with three guests who knew him well - photographer David Cannon, author Robert Green and tour pro turned architect and writer Mike Clayton.

Our new Fuzzy Polo is made in Portugal using an exclusive Sounder knitted slub cotton. Slub cotton is made using short strands of yarn which are twisted during the weaving process, creating an uneven, textured appearance and a fabric that feels soft and natural to the touch.

We’ve taken this gorgeous fabric and created a polo shirt with a loose fit that’s supremely comfortable. This pocket version of the Fuzzy Polo features a contrasting chest pocket patch with an embroidered Sounder half-star logo and a three-button placket. The cotton feels great against your skin, while the loose fit allows you to wear it layered over t-shirt or base layer.

When it came to naming this piece, we loved the soft ‘fuzzy’ feel of the material. And when someone pointed out the horizontal stripes and colour combination matched the outfit worn by 1979 Masters winner Fuzzy Zoeller, the Fuzzy Polo was born.
