Kendrick Lamar Allegedly Disses Big Sean, Jay Electronica & French Montana On New Leak: Report

Kendrick Lamar will call out names. In 2013, when he joined Big Sean and Jay Electronica on “Control,” Kendrick Lamar left the rap world rattled after listing off his contemporaries, including the two other MCs on the song, in an attempt to assert his dominance. A decade later, the tension still stands between Kendrick and some of the artists he mentioned. Big Sean’s been accused of subliminally taking shots at K. Dot while Jay Electronica has been a bit more forthcoming.

We can count on Kendrick to throw subs back whenever he decides to release but apparently, his vault stores a few records where he’s calling people out by name. Per Hip-Hop-N-More, the “OG” version of “ELEMENT.” allegedly leaked this morning, containing direct shots at Jay Electronica, Big Sean, and French Montana. K. Dot’s issues with the latter appear to stem from a 2016 Breakfast Club interview (not his 2020 Verzuz comments) where he suggested the Compton rapper was positioned to win at the Grammys.

The leaked version, which began circulating on X (Twitter), includes some of the original lyrics that we hear on DAMN. Meanwhile, the production choice actually comes from “Paramedic!” by SOBxRBE from Black Panther: The Album. “French Montana speaking on me in interviews/ Very cynical, dry hating something I don’t approve,” he raps. “Jay Electronica threw silencers on my GRAMMY night/ Another dead Prophet hoping the God’ll give ’em life.”

Then, the verse shifts focus to Big Sean, acknowledging the apparent issues between them. Given that DAMN. came out in 2017, and French and Jay Electronica’s comments emerged 2016, it seems like this could’ve been a direct response to Big Sean’s “No More Interviews.” Additionally, many of the references, including the Drake vs. Meek Mill feud, indicate that this was recorded during that time.

Big Sean keep sneak dissing, I let it slide
I think his false confidence got him inspired
I can’t make ’em respect you, baby, it’s not my job
You’re finally famous for who you date, not how you rhyme (boy)
Cute a*s raps, get your puberty up
Make you a classic album before you come at us
Drake and Meek Mill beef might got you gassed up
But I’m a whole ‘nother beast, I’ll really f**k you up

Many have already expressed concerns surrounding whether the verse was AI-generated. However, there have been several versions of this song circulating since 2019. One of them included a response to Jay Electronica. Check out the snippet above.

Drake Gives Away Free Tour Tickets With Website Scavenger Hunt

Overnight, fans visiting Drake's website found themselves looking at a scavenger hunt. "Letters are hidden in every room in the house. Find all the letters and enter the word below," some text on the website reads. It asked fans to travel around the various pages of the artist's website looking for secret letters that assembled a code. It's not the first time the "Search & Rescue" rapper had done something similar. The last time he set up a website exploration event it was to give fans the opportunity to win free tickets and that seems to be the case once again.

Fans online who managed to crack the code reported just that. According to a few Twitter users who managed to get in, the website gives you the opportunity to enter a drawing for tickets to Drake and 21 Savage's "It's All A Blur" tour. Including tonight's show in Vancouver, the tour has 24 stops left on its remaining run. The tour wraps up in Columbus on October 9. While specific details on the giveaway haven't emerged yet, it seems that some lucky fans who took part in the online search could be rewarded with the chance to see one of the shows.

While 21 Savage has served as the opener for much of the "It's All A Blur" tour so far, a new face emerged for a recent show. During a trip to Vancouver for the tour, Savage couldn't make the trip but his replacement by Travis Scott certainly didn't leave fans disappointed.

Earlier this week Drake dropped some new merch that had fans excited. The merch features references to his new album For All The Dogs. After teasing the project all summer many believe it could be arriving soon. Last week, the rapper shared the album art to social media. In conjunction with the scavenger hunt fans are speculating the project could arrive any day now. What do you think of Drake's website sending fans on a scavenger hunt for free tickets? ASAP Rocky Shares Rolling Loud Photo Dump

ASAP Rocky had an eventful time over the weekend performing at Rolling Loud. After his performance made headlines for reasons both music related and otherwise, he took the opportunity to share some pics with fans. Last night, he dropped numerous up-close pictures of his elaborate outfit and a video of the performance for fans to chew on. In the caption of the post, he seems to double down on some headline-grabbing stories from this weekend. “GHETTO EXPRESSIONISM. IMA NEED MY 10%,” it reads.

Comments were unsurprisingly talking about ASAP Rocky and Travis Scott. “Rocky is better than Travis on any f*cking point, stop trying so hard to prove the opposite,” one of the top comments reads. Another comment takes the opposite approach. “mf bit houston’s whole swag and wanna claim he was copied asap been biting since raider klan. y’all was built off stealing swag.” Given that it was Rocky’s own comment section that one didn’t go over very well. All of that discussion spawned from a lyric in one of the new songs Rocky played over the weekend. “First you stole my flow, so I stole your bitch/Then you stole my style, I need at least like 10 percent/ All due disrespect, I hope you take offense,” he said. Many have interpreted that as a direct shot at Travis Scott.

Lil Durk Walks Out With Drake At LA “It’s All A Blur” Show

Drake’s currently making his way around the U.S and Canada on his “It’s All A Blur” tour alongside 21 Savage. Fans have been eager to see what special guests will be spotted on the tour, recently being surprised with Sexyy Red, Summer Walker, Kim Kardashian, and more. Earlier this summer, the Canadian performer even walked out with Lil Yachty, much to fans’ excitement. At a recent tour stop in Los Angeles, Drake walked out with another surprise guest, Lil Durk.

As one would expect, fans were thrilled by his appearance. In a clip of their entrance, the crowd is heard going nuts for the duo. The guest appearance has also now managed to get social media users speculating about what kind of significance it could have. Many think that Drake could be hinting at a Lil Durk feature on For All The Dogs, which is believed to be dropping this Friday. Though it’s unconfirmed, it would make sense based on a statement the Chicago MC recently made on Twitter.

“Feel like going on my feature run,” Lil Durk wrote earlier this week. “I’m healed,” he added, “First stop sexy red second stop ytbFATT.” Though the rapper failed to mention Drake, a collab on his new album would certainly fall into line with what he said. It’s clear that fans would appreciate a Lil Durk feature on For All The Dogs, following the massive success of their 2020 team-up, “Laugh Now Cry Later.”

Last month, Durk faced an unexpected health scare and was hospitalized for exhaustion and dehydration. This led the performer to cancel a slew of his own tour dates, much to fans’ disappointment. He picked back up with a show in his hometown, which was unfortunately clouded by a false shooting threat. This resulted in the show ending early and some merch stands getting looted. Luckily, he was able to have a great show the following night. Stay tuned to HNHH for more updates on Lil Durk and Drake.
