Since first collaborating with British car manufacturer Morgan Motor Company for the inaugural ‘Concours on Savile Row’ in 2022, we’ve had the pleasure of driving various Morgans, kindly loaned to us by Morgan Works London. This showroom in Kensington is more like a boutique than a car showroom and unlike any other!

Actor Tom Ward, best known for his role as Dr. Harry Cunningham in Silent Witness, featured in our short film promoting our Morgan collaboration and seventy-five years ago, the original “Plus 4” made its debut in The Autocar magazine. Fast forward to 2025 and the “Plus Four” is now Morgan’s best-selling model, proudly existing as one of the longest-established nameplates in the automotive industry.

Similar to our own bespoke tailoring, the Morgan Plus Four is fully customisable. Every design detail can be uniquely specified for the individual, making this a truly original vehicle. And like us here at Number 10 Savile Row, Morgan is still a family-owned business and proudly making in Britain.

In a world often shaped by mass-production, uniformity and short-lived experiences, bespoke tailoring and the Morgan Plus Four have never felt more relevant.

As an entry level to our bespoke tailoring house, we sell a curated selection of eight ready-to-wear suits, available to buy online and in-store on Savile Row. Modelled here, the single-breasted two-piece Super 100’s navy blue flannel ready-to-wear suit with two button jacket, side vents and straight pocket flaps.

New and ready-to-wear! Best known for our bespoke tailoring and bespoke shirt-making, we also sell a small selection of ready-to-wear suits for those wishing to wear Savile Row’s finest, at a lower price point than bespoke.

Modelled here opposite the Houses of Parliament in London, this single breasted two-piece suit is made in a Super 100’s mid-grey pick’n’pick 11 ounce pure wool worsted, woven in Yorkshire and personally selected by our bespoke team.

This particular ready-to-wear suit has a two-button jacket with side vents and straight pockets with flaps and is lined with a contrasting burgundy lining.

The trousers have a single pleat with side-adjusters and brace buttons inside.

All our ready-to-wear suit coats are half canvassed using a lightweight canvas, with horsehair and soft alpaca felt in the chest area and padded lapels to create a natural roll that will remain for the lifetime of the garment.

Born on 21st April 1926, today would have been the 100th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty sadly passed away on 8th September 2022.

Elizabeth II was Queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms from 6 February 1952 until her death. She was queen regnant of 32 sovereign states during her lifetime and was the monarch of 15 realms at her death.

Celebrating her life of dedicated service to our great nation, the Commonwealth and beyond, a new charity is being established to honour the extraordinary life of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Queen Elizabeth Trust will have King Charles III as its patron and the charity will focus on restoring shared spaces in communities, reflecting the late Queen’s commitment to public service inspired by the belief that “everyone is our neighbour” - a sentiment she frequently expressed throughout her life.

The late Queen died in 2022 at the age of 96 and would have turned 100 today, 21 April 2026.

We rode The Tweed Run! On Saturday 18th April, a peloton of 1,000 or so tweed clad bicycle riders made their way down Savile Row as part of the annual visual spectacular that is ‘The Tweed Run’.

With tweed being so popular amongst our domestic and internationally-based customers, we joined The Tweed Run this year with model and good friend ‘David Aisosa’ riding the 12 miles or so for us in a Phitwell coat on a Pashley Britannia, kindly loaned for the event by Pashley Cycles, who have been hand-crafting bicycles in Britain since 1926.

The first Tweed Run happened in 2009, when 300 tweed-clad cyclists gathered at the top of London’s renowned Savile Row on a chilly February morning. Today, Tweed Runs are hosted around the globe, but the original event in London will always be the flagship event.

Excitement for The Tweed Run 2027 is building amongst our team of bespoke cutters and tailors based here at Number 10 Savile Row.

Travelling this Easter? Ever considered a travel overshirt?

A common misconception of Savile Row is that its bespoke tailoring houses only make suits. In reality, as a bespoke tailor and bespoke shirt-maker, we’re constantly asked to make all manner of clothing, including more leisure-oriented garments, in more relaxed styles.

So what are people currently ordering, apart from their suits and business attire? Overshirts! Versatile, functional and specifically designed to cater to the needs of global travellers and adventurers.

A well made, robust yet stylish overshirt is an investment that can significantly enhance your travel experience, offering practicality without compromising on style.

All Dege & Skinner bespoke shirts are cut inside the shop, with a number of made-to-measure travel overshirts also available to buy in-store now from Number 10 Savile Row, just in time for this coming Easter weekend.

Accessories really make a difference. Be it a silk cravat, knitted tie, pocket square or wrist watch, choosing and wearing accessories stylishly is a matter of adding personal character while maintaining a balanced, intentional look.

Traditionally, formal dress studs and cufflinks have glinted on dress shirts worn with dinner suits (tuxedos) in chandelier-lit ballrooms around the world and now other jewellery like tie pins inlaid with precious stones and gems are proving popular in daywear too.

The red carpet trend has seemingly been adopted wherever you look in menswear, with the nuanced, guiding principle of less is more.

Accessories should complete an outfit rather than overwhelm it.

A selection of stylish and carefully chosen accessories is available to buy online and in-store at Number 10 Savile Row.

Launched in the 1930s, the Phitwell™ coat is a unique design registered to the bespoke tailoring house of Dege & Skinner. Its design features a fully-sprung and laced internal rear shoulder lining to allow its wearer to flex and move for recreational sports, without the coat riding upwards causing unnecessarily ‘bagging’ around the all important shoulders and neck and thereby retaining its shapely form.

The dark green Phitwell coat is cut from an unusual basket weave cloth woven in Yorkshire by Marton Mills to mark our 160th Anniversary and is one of four available colour ways: rust, light blue, denim blue and dark green.

Detailing such as pockets and shoulder padding are specified at the time of order and these recent bespoke Phitwell coats are styled with ready-to-wear shirts, silk ties and silk pocket squares from our online store.

First designed in the last century, the lasting appeal of the Phitwell was highlighted when it featured at ‘The London Cut’ in 2007. Curated by style connoisseur and fashion writer James Sherwood, this showcase of the best of British menswear was commissioned by Pitti Immagine Uomo and held in the Royal apartments of the Duke and Duchess of Aosta.

Pinnacle of National Hunt racing, The Cheltenham Festival is host to the world famous ‘Gold Cup’, which takes place today, Friday 13th March.

Unlike Royal Ascot, there’s no fixed dress code for this four-day horse racing festival, so the advice is to dress up stylishly and warmly, with multiple layers and gloves, for a notoriously windy race course. Our RTW gilet would be just the thing to wear for a full day of excitement and hopefully, race winners!

Royal Ascot in June is a different story however and there’s still just enough time for us to make you a bespoke Morning Dress, if you’re quick to make contact with us!

Seen here modelling formal Morning Dress (minus his silk top hat), our wonderful bespoke customer Marcus Goodwille, who is signed to Zone Models.
