Soner Özenç is a specialist in 'makerspace' implementation and experiential events using digital manufacturing technologies such as laser cutting and engraving, and 3D printing. He is the founder of three companies; MakersCAFE: Laser cutting, 3D printing and coffee in one place; UK’s first 3D printing cafe. RazorLAB: Online Laser Cutting and Engraving service provider; all automated and open 24/7. SOPDS (Soner Ozenc Product Design Studio): Generates innovative ideas and converts them into profitable products and service proposals. Soner is an award-winning designer and entrepreneur. His ‘Tornado’ design has been awarded the first prize in Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass Competition. 'EL Sajjadah' design has appeared on the cover of T3 Magazine -No 1 Gadget Magazine in the world- with a four-page exclusive preview; it is now part of MoMA permanent collection. ‘Time Curtain’ design has been bought by Design Museum in Seoul, South Korea. CMYKshade has been sold at MoMA shop and is now the official lighting for the food chain Wrap It Up, London, UK.
