I recently refurbished two headdresses I made, about 10 years ago, as the front vintage jewellery had started to oxidise on the fabric underneath.

First of all, I am very proud of the longevity of these pieces! They have been out and about performing with and they have held out beautifully!

But a little TLC was definitely needed.
The best way was to strip down the area that was stained, down to the base fabric and re-cover it with similar laces to re create that vintage feeling. I would have loved to re plate the vintage necklaces but unfortunately I couldn't find a way, so I sourced some new pieces. I

And ta daa, they are ready to go and perform again!

You might have noticed I haven't been very present on social media in the past couple of years.
The main reason is that the hubby&I have finally bought a house!!! & that we are entirely renovating DIY style, so apart from a full time Mon-Fri job, most weekends we are dedicated to this new amazing project💪

But I had the opportunity of working on a few fun commissions, collaborating with creative people to make some magic ✨

The long standing political situation of the world has made me feel pretty sad and pretending everything was fine through social media was also not on the table.

For 2026 I aim to be a bit better at showcasing my work, taking pride in my creation 😉
