Congratulations, respect and best wishes to you, Eric for your 30-year anniversary exhibition "RE-HAZE" currently on at Parco Museum Tokyo,
This is an outstanding body of work from one of the most genuine & talented people I've met over my years in the scene...And here's my little exhibition, proudly displayed at home in my country cottage, where tradition meets modern. Thanks for the Iconograffiti poster you gave me in 1995.

Dr. Jives circa 1992 with a Stussy themed window displaying , Stussy Pullover Shell Jacket, Dealer signs & stickers and just in shot at the top, an oversized Stussy Stock logo decaI I had custom made for the window (thanks Andy). I'm wearing Stussy Beachpants with Ralph Lauren plaid button down shirt, Foundation Super Co jacket and leather Puma Clydes. Thanks to the OG

This is how it started. I'd just turned 18 in 1987 when I opened my first shop, Dr Jives, located in Glasgow, Scotland. Originally selling hand picked Vintage American Clothing, specialising in workwear, military and denim, all of which had an enduring, defining influence on my buying and stores. By 1989 I was a retail pioneer in Streetwear Culture and one of the OG Stussy stockists in the UK, buying from Chuckie B at M-Zone in London and Tony Coffey from Rollermania in Bristol. I went on to be the largest independant Stussy stockist in the UK along with merging Streetwear with Heritage Brands and higher-end Menswear throughout the 1990's, early 2000's. Exciting times building up the key ingredients and layers that have influenced many stores today. Further untold stories to come from the Official Dr. Jives Archive (1987-2004). Respect, Shawn Stussy.
