We are so proud to announce that we have FINALLY launched our heartfelt “Silver Fox” Headband linked to a Brain Cancer Awareness Campaign.
This is a difficult post to share considering we’ve gone through a challenging journey in our Cicconi family this year but one that I feel is important in creating awareness on a very sensitive topic that’s affected us,in particular, my father.
I designed ‘’Silverfox’’ in honour of my dad, Lidiano Cicconi, who last year got diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a severe grade 4 brain cancer, and I wanted to bring light to this terrible disease that hit him and our family hard.
At the time of his diagnosis, I had decided to postpone my brand launch and took time out to spend quality time him but unfortunately after less than a year from being diagnosed, dad lost the battle and we had to say our final goodbyes. 🥹
From being healthy and athletic, to suddenly falling over and being randomly diagnosed, my father had gone through major brain surgery then tough oncology treatments all within such a short space of time. The key thing to diagnosis is to spot the signs of behavioural change early.
Silver fox, named after dad ‘The Silverfox’, is a truly meaningful headband designed straight from the heart with dad’s memory at the forefront. Cicconi is his surname so I hope his legacy lives on through my brand. 🙏🏼🤞🏼🫶🏼
He was so proud of my brand before passing away and he inspired me to continue and drive my passion forward ❤️🫶🏼✨👸🏼 and would be elated to see his special Crown named after him, helping others in some way who are being diagnosed with Glioblastoma.
