Following in the footsteps of “G” - aka grandfather Jacob Goff who ran the UK’s second largest furriers until WWII.

Being located near St Paul’s Cathedral resulted in J Goff’s premises being bombed and a pivot from fur to military outerwear.

GOFF COURTNEY is officially back for our third residency at London’s most prestigious retail hub - aka the Royal Exchange - and we’re in good company, with neighbours Fortnum’s and Tiffany’s!

From the listed historical unit 1 on Cornhill St (2nd photo) to unit 29 on Threadneedle St, opposite the Bank of England (3rd photo) to unit 8a inside the Courtyard.

This shows how the GC brand has evolved and fine-tuned its offering: pioneering sartorial solutions to address changing lifestyles, climes - and waistlines! Age/size/gender-free. Timeless and seasonless.

On humid hot days, the name of the game - is floaty throw-ons.

So we got snapping in our ‘StudioShop’ to show off three GOFF COURTNEY solutions;

- stripe shirt reconfigured as a poncho;
- neon coral top distilled into a shrug;
- cobalt/khaki silky scarf with utilitarian pockets;

These pieces caress the skin, providing total freedom and protection. No discomfort - sweaty armpits, creased tops, rolled up sleeves, etc… Just throw on and float down the street!
