Love this, it says it all ❤️

I know just what you're thinking because I used to think the same,
The back to school spam every year is dull and quite mundane.
But then I had my own kids which I didn't have before,
And now I see the meaning of those photos stood by the front door.
These children seem to grow so quick and at the start of each September,
We take a photo of them in their uniform so their changes, we remember.
Their first new shiny school shoes that walk them in on their first day,
The wonky ties of teens who are figuring out their way.
We've ironed on the name labels, repeated "just do your best",
Reminisced on where the years went from when they were first laid on our chest.
I get that another school photo, popping up as a Facebook post,
Isn't always very interesting and seems like a parenting boast.
But these children in these photos stood by the house front door,
Are our proudest achievements in our lives and we couldn't wish for more.
So when you see the back to school spam I ask you to remember,
To parents this is so much more than just another passing September.

At last it’s feeling like Summer ☀️
I’ve been sharing posts on the many handy uses of large muslins and this is the first chance I’ve had to post this image without it feeling ridiculous as it pours with rain outside. So ta da! you can use an XL muslin as a sarong. I’ve used them as a breastfeeding cover and then whipped it up around me as a sarong straight after to go and grab a drink (breastfeeding is thirsty work). Due to the contemporary prints it looks great over a bikini👙 💕 and it’s a brilliant way to keep using our muslins once your little ones have all grown up.

Check you have everything you need now so you and your little one are ready for hopefully finally some fun summer days.
One of the many handy uses of our xl muslins are that you can use them as a sunshade. This is not just on your pram but on other items such as over the arch of a bouncer in the garden keeping your little one comfortable, cool and entertained.

How do you use yours?

How you personally choose to feed your baby is completely up to you ❤️ If you breastfeed and prefer to use a cover then using a muslin is a no brainer 🤷‍♀️. The fabric is breathable and as large muslins have so many uses you’ll have one in your change bag anyway so there’s one less thing to buy & carry.
Our muslin prints are stylish & contemporary as often the muslins are on you and you don’t necessarily want to be covered in monkey or duck prints just because you’re now a mum 🌴🌷🍍🦞🦩. Plus they have a ribbon that can easily be attached through a small loop and tied to your bra as an extra secure cover (also handy for tying it to your pram as a shade too whilst leaving a gap for air to flow to your baby).

How do you use yours?
XL muslins make a handy sleepyhead cover. I never thought of this until you all sent me photos of this clever mum hack, thank you. A muslin is so easy to lay over the top and tuck in so that you are not constantly washing the actual cover. Our fun contemporary prints mean that you can switch up the print more regularly to even match your nursery or wherever you may be.
