Modernist Sculptural Desk & Chair Set in Cherrywood

A modernist sculptural desk and chair set, constructed in warm cherrywood with a clean architectural form. The desk has a broad rectangular work surface raised on bold angled pedestal supports, giving the piece a strong studio or architect’s-desk feel. To the rear sits an integrated letter rack with angled sides and vertical dividers, ideal for organising papers, envelopes or stationery while adding height and visual interest to the design.

Midcentury French Ch*****ne Bucket with Enamel Label & Vine Handles by Victor Clicquot c.1955

A midcentury French ch*****ne cooler in silver-toned metal, bearing a raised Victor Clicquot plaque to the front with the inscriptions “Ch*****ne Victor Clicquot”, “Maison Fondée en 1892” and “Reims”. The gently tapered cylindrical body is finished with a rolled upper rim and a darkened interior, while sculptural side handles take the form of curling vine stems with bunches of grapes and leaves, adding a decorative reference to its intended use. The restrained form is balanced by these more elaborate cast details, giving the piece a distinctly French decorative character.

Jonathan Paramor Ash and Danish Paper Cord Armchair, England c.1990

A sculptural ash armchair by British artist and designer Jonathan Paramor of Leicester, circa 1990, combining traditional turned-wood construction with hand-woven paper cord. The rounded ash frame is formed from substantial cylindrical pieces with exposed pegged joints, creating a clear structural rhythm across the legs, arms and stretchers. A tightly woven paper-cord seat spans the frame, while the cylindrical backrest is similarly wrapped to provide both support and a tactile contrast to the smooth timber. The warm honeyed finish highlights the pronounced grain of the ash and gives the chair a particularly natural, workshop-made character.

Daneline Midcentury Teak Garden Suite

A 1960s teak garden suite by Daneline, comprising a round dining table and four matching armchairs. The table has a circular slatted teak top arranged in a radial pattern, supported on a white tubular metal base with fine cross-bracing beneath. The chairs echo the same material language, with dark teak slatted seats and backs, white painted metal frames, gently curved arms and small black feet.

Midcentury Rosewood & Chrome Desk by Merrow Associates c.1965

A British midcentury writing table by Merrow Associates, combining richly figured rosewood with polished chrome in the clean, architectural manner associated with the company’s 1960s furniture. The broad rectangular top and deep apron are veneered in highly expressive rosewood, with flowing grain and darker figuring continuing across the two flush-fronted drawers. The drawers are discreetly integrated into the façade, preserving the uninterrupted horizontal line of the case while providing useful storage for stationery and smaller office items. Chrome-plated end panels wrap around the sides of the desk, each inset with a matching rosewood panel that carefully links the timber case to the metal base

Vintage Maralunga Two Seater Sofa by Vico Magistretti for Cassina, Italy

A late 20th-century Italian leather settee designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina, upholstered in soft taupe-grey hide with natural creasing and tonal variation. The design combines a low, architectural outer frame with two loose seat cushions, broad padded arms and twin back cushions, creating a relaxed contrast between structure and upholstery. The leather-covered side supports continue down to form the legs, finished with discreet dark feet that preserve the clean, continuous profile.
