The brand combines elements from the designer's desire to incorporate sustainability and haute couture while paying homage to the African culture in which he was raised. Kaiser grew up in a small town in Eastern Africa, it is there

where he started to show his love of creativity in the forms of art, music and painting. In the early 90's, Kaiser relocated to the UK to pursue his dreams and later became a bus driver. Nevertheless during his free time he found himself sketching away to pass the time. This gave him the push he needed to pursue a formal qualification in fashion. After graduating with a degree in Fashion and Design Kaiser revealed his Avant Gard collection at Paris Fashion Week. Gveny continued to make headway in the industry, collaborating with hairstylist Errol Douglas MBE and dressing Miss Universe Great Britain Amy Willerton. After a successful introduction into the fashion industry Gveny was hit with tragedy as the entire collection and an unrevealed collection was induced in a fire leaving only two garments saved. After 6 long years away from the industry, Samuel Kaiser and Gveny have risen from the ashes with a new collection, unveiled at Paris Fashion Week 2025.
