Tin Tin Collectables has long been the 'go to' shop for ladies (and some gentlemens) vintage costume and accessories from the early 20th Centuary to around the 1930s. Film, Television. and Theatre costume departments all regards Tin Tin Collectables as first port of call, and many of the finest period dramas sport costume and accessories from out collection. Museums and private collectors all regularly visit out store with an eye to topping up collections or augmenting collections.

A pair of smart 1970s designer suitcases by Fendi & Gucci. The Fendi is in striped brown/tan canvas with a chestnut brown leather trim & handles, the Gucci is cream monogrammed ‘Gucci’ fabric with cream vellum leather trim & handles, gold plated locks make this a stylish period piece.

Rather like London buses……. I’ve only ever heard tale of these elusive and rare attaché cases. They are Norfolk Hide cases, they were made in Sheffield, at the factory on Norfolk Street. Hence the slightly misleading name! There are no stitches on the leather, rather they are moulded and have a rich deep chocolate brown patina. And four have turned up.

What surprises are inside the wicket box? A rather excellent early 20c picnic hamper with a complete ‘tea for two” set - comprises of 2each cups, saucers, teaspoons, 1 each of spirit burner, kettle, sandwich box, milk, sugar box, spirit flask, & tea caddy.

In exceptional condition is the late 19c cartridge case, complete with original key.

This unified force later incorporated Allied troops as well, and contributed greatly to the success of the war. The scarf measures 40x105cms
