Nicolette Bosch is a London-based designer born in South Africa. With a background in hospitality, she has shifted from design and presentation on the plate to the headpiece. Following her training, she refined her technical skills and gained invaluable industry experience under the tutelage of some of the United Kingdom’s top courtier and theatrical milliners such as Jane Smith and Prudence Milli
nery. The Nico Bosch brand was established in 2011 with the aim of bringing new influence, diversity and a personal flare to millinery. Nico’s style fuses bold shapes and flowing lines by intermingling traditional skills with modern influences. A focal point of her design are her hand-crafted metalworks inspired by her rich heritage and breadth of international influences from ties to Brazilian and Portuguese cultures and time spent living in Angola and Switzerland among other places. Bosch believes this is what keeps her collections novel and desirable in a world where fashion is perpetually transforming. Nico has an enthusiastic appreciation of the arts, dance and music – interests which keep her creations fluid and versatile.
