Oh yes!!! I’ve been knee-deep in a pile of fabric and spreadsheets for the last few weeks preparing my 💚Zero-waste Swimsuit Collection💚 wahooooo! 🙌

It’s been so exciting to pull out so many fun fabrics from the archives - “hello old friends!” - which I think will be perfect as swimsuits! I can’t wait to see them all made into the perfect scoop leotard swimsuit shape! At this rate I’m gonna have lot of trouble not keeping them all for myself!! 😈

It’s been a lot of hard work, sorting through the fabrics to see what’s usable, calculating how to get the most out of the fabric, and organising it for my manufacturer.. but it will be so worth it!! I love that the collection will be made entirely from existing fabric, making it a more sustainable option 💚

2023, wow! A year of change, recalibration and some excellent life decisions:

💖 moved to the seaside (after only a few visits to Margate, we quickly fell in love, bought a house and had moved within half a year!)

💖 3 holidays abroad (birthday trip to Marrakesh, friends’ 40ths in Cyprus, family trip to Portugal)

💖 prioritised my health and finally struck a good work/life balance - deciding to say goodbye to my studio unit to work from home was a huge part of that!

💖 started creative hobbies like pottery and painting to create art for arts sake

💖 dyed my hair fun colours for the first time in a decade!

What’s in store for 2024?? More creativity!!

⭐️ my first proper festival collection since 2022 (as I only released kimono-style cover ups and zero-waste catsuits in 2023!)

⭐️ more prints! And a new print direction, going back to my roots as a print designer who loves to paint! Get ready for it to get messy up in here! And you’ll see a lot more behind the scenes of work in progress!

⭐️ collaborations! I have a HUGE one coming in Spring (which has been in progress since a year ago!!) which I CANNOT WAIT to show you!! And I’m excited to design more prints for other brands (if you’d like to work with me get in touch!)

Thank you so much for your support this year! I won’t lie and say it’s been easy to keep going as a self-employed creative (cos it’s been challenging to say the least!) but I’m still here thanks to you!! I hope you’ll stick around for another year of colour and even more prints than ever before 🙌🌈💕
