By placing Carbon Cell beside its purest counterpart, the diamond, we question what we value. Morrama Lab designed 3 products. 1/3 a geometric jewellery box that reframes value — showing how a carbon-negative biochar foam can capture imagination as much as carbon itself.

As CO₂ emissions rise, Carbon Cell offers balance. A carbon-negative foam made from biochar, formed into everyday objects that lock carbon away for centuries. And when its work is done, it returns to the earth — enriching soil instead of polluting it.

A story of transformation, from waste to worth.

Designed by Morrama for Kibu, the world's first repairable 3D-printed kids' headphones encourage children to learn about circular design through play.

From 4,300 entries across 89 countries, our collaborative project, Kibu has made the Dezeen Awards longlist in two categories: Product Design (Consumer Design) and Sustainability.

It’s an honour to see this work recognised alongside some of the world’s best design. Winners will be announced later this year, watch this space.

We teamed up with TDC PR for the second Out of Office Run Club during London Design Festival, taking a 5 km loop around Victoria Park before coffee and conversations at Hackney Depot alongside our From the Ground Up exhibition.

Thank you to Stance + Hylo for the support and to Roddy Clarke for guiding the warm-up and keeping spirits high.
