The Cocktail Dress — AW08

An archival piece from the Gomez-Gracia Autumn/Winter 2008 collection.

Originally photographed in 2007 by Magda Hernandez and styles by Marcos Sandoval, the dress was designed as a modern interpretation of the perfect cocktail dress in silk satin.

Nearly two decades later, reimagined in this contemporary clip, the dress still feels entirely current.

Proof that when the cut, fabric and proportion are right, good design endures.
