Digitally stitching up the ball gown skirt in CLO3D to check the pattern. This software allows us to test out various fabric options before moving on to sampling. After fitting the calico toile on a real live human we can alter the pattern here and immediately see how any changes will look.

Just a couple of early photos from Nicki and Mark’s wedding last weekend in Glasgow. We made custom bridesmaid dresses with ties and pocket squares to match for the groomsmen 💜💜💜 Can wait for the photographers shots from this one - especially of the ceilidh!!

Delighted to see the first few photos from Gill’s gorgeous Italian wedding!
For Gill we made a midi length slip dress with low back, cross over straps and a little cowl at the front neck, in sapphire blue silk satin (). Perfect for an evening ceremony in the hot summer weather.

To celebrate Pride (in a way which doesn’t involve actually leaving the house) I’d love to offer an LGBTQ+ bride the opportunity to wear a couture outfit on their special day. You pay for the fabric and I’ll do the rest!* If you’re planning a wedding for 2021 and would like to enter the competition post the pride flag emoji below and follow . To nominate a friend just tag them along with the flag. Competition closes Friday July 10th, and the winner will be announced Monday 13th.

As a gay woman myself I really want to use my skills to support our community, and to make wedding attire inclusive. Creating the outfit you’ll get married in should be fun for everyone! Dream big and express yourself with a truly unique look.
*Prize includes a design consultation, bespoke pattern, 1st cotton sample made to your measurements, sample fitting, pattern alterations, making of your final garment(s), final fitting and alterations. All fittings and meetings to take place in London. I’ll source a variety of fabric options for you to choose from, along with any trims needed. All you pay is the cost of the fabric and trimmings.
A short-list of finalists will be drawn at random and contacted to provide a little more detail about their project, from which I’ll select the winner based on workable timelines. Good luck!

I’ve been at today, making more samples of Fundamentals designs. So nice to have the whole co-working studio to myself!
