es from focused and personal tuition. Class size is maximum 6 people. This class is suitable for absolute beginners and those that would like to further develop their basic sewing skills. This is a simple and quick course designed to focus your journey to professional sewing. As a small exclusive atelier run by two industry professional there will be intensive 1 to 1 tuition to accelerate your learning process. Students will be provided with a demonstration on the specific skills needed to produce a skirt, which you will then analyse and practice. Lyall Hakaraia has a extraordinary understanding of historical, contextual and social impacts of fashion design as well as a diverse range of technical skills that allow him to explore innovations in fabrics, garment manufacture and finishings through his own work.
