Most people reach for roses…
but these are my go-to nearly every time 👇

🌸 Why zinnias are my favourite flower to preserve:

• They hold their shape beautifully (no collapsing centres)
• The colours stay incredibly vibrant in silica
• Strong petals = less breakage when handling
• They dry evenly (no weird curling or patchy fading)
• Perfect for beginners AND detailed artwork

✨ Honestly… if you’re new to flower preservation, start here. There are some incredible shades available and very easy to grow from seed.

🌿 My top tip when removing from silica:

Always lift from the stem and support the head
→ zinnias are strong, but the centre can still crumble if rushed

We’re still on a high from our workshop launch last weekend ✨

Our Preserving Flowers in Resin – Bouquet Preservation Skills Workshop was such a special morning. This is a beautifully detailed, technical process, and we loved guiding everyone through it step by step.

To make sure each guest experienced the full journey, we worked with pre-cured pieces, allowing everyone to learn the process from start to finish with confidence.

And just look at what they created… honestly, we’re so proud. 👏

✨ The youngest guest at our Mother’s Day Workshop was just 4 years old… and she proudly framed her own pressed flower artwork.

Yesterday we spent the most beautiful Mother’s Day afternoon reinventing pressed flower art at in Greenwich 🌸 swipe to see what our guests made…

This was my first workshop welcoming younger children, and honestly I loved it even more than I expected. Seeing little ones and grown-ups creating side by side with every artwork completely unique was so special.

One of my favourite moments was watching Esme help run our pressed-flower station for the children. She helped me set up, supported the younger guests and absolutely beamed with confidence all afternoon.

Giving mums a little breathing space to finish their own pieces while the children created was such a lovely part of the day.

A huge thank you to the wonderful team for always being so welcoming. We finished the day with a delicious meal in the restaurant and a well-deserved Mother’s Day glass of wine 🍷
