What is SEAQUAL® ?

SEAQUAL® YARN is recycled polyester.

The linings of Court 5050 + Court 5050 Vegan use recycled polyester made from 100% post-consumer waste. This is generally comprised of recycled plastic bottles and polyester fabrics from fashion and other industries.

SEAQUAL® YARN is almost identical to virgin polyester. It is strong and versatile so can be used to produce a variety of material types, such as; woven, knitted and microfiber of varying finishes. It is also one of the most recyclable fibers on the market.

SEAQUAL INITIATIVE work to raise awareness of issues surrounding ocean pollution. SEAQUAL® YARN was produced as a means of up-cycling ocean and post-consumer waste whilst highlighting the scale of the problem.
