We had intended to continue trading until the end of February, but the rails are nearly empty already. We will be closing our door for the last time on Sunday 1st February.

We will be selling fixtures and furniture downstairs, including tables, plinths, clothing rails, bamboo hangers and storage. 

 69b Boutique will close its doors for the last time on 1st February, but we will reopen in a few weeks as a Pet Store and Grooming Parlour, 69b Pet Boutique. 

There’s something symbolic about transforming the physical space rather than walking away from it. Where clothing once hung there will be carefully curated pet products, chosen with the same care for quality and for the planet. We will be offering a variety of pet grooming services for dogs in the basement.

This is the announcement I really hoped I wouldn’t have to make. But here goes.

After nearly 15 years on Broadway Market, 69b Boutique will cease trading at the end of February 2026. Costs have increased to a level that means the business is no longer viable.

It’s been a ride! Since I bought the business in 2020 we’ve introduced ecommerce and menswear, had a beautiful refit, met hundreds of lovely people and dogs, hosted memorable events, raised thousands for local charities and supported LCF’s jewellery students. And somehow with the help of my incredible team we survived a flood, Brexit and an actual plague.

We’re proud to have been London’s first store dedicated to a better fashion industry,
and to have had the opportunity to work with amazing brands who make beautiful things from sustainable materials under fair working conditions.

Thank you so much for your custom and your company over the years.

Absolutely everything in store and online will be at least 50% off until we close.

If you have a gift voucher or credit note it will be valid until 28th February 2026. In store purchases made before 6th January can be returned or exchanged under the usual conditions of purchase. Items purchased in store from 6th January cannot be returned unless faulty. Online purchases can be returned within 14 days of receipt. DM with any questions.
