Ioannis Dimitrousis Greek born Fashion Designer Ioannis Dimitrousis after graduating from London College of Fashion in 2005 in Menswear.

Since then has experimented with genderless Collections, innovative textile techniques and intricate embellishment. ioannisdimitrousis’ first collections inspired by multi-cultural influences combined with innovative textile design, which provides an eclectic mix and originality. Ioannis working along with his skilful mother continuing the contemporary exploration of traditional hand crafted techn

iques of crochet mixed with semi precious stones, crystals, pearls and beads through scarves tops and dresses.. S/S 08 was the first successful attempt with womenswear during London Fashion Week, which led to A/W 08/09 ‘Back & Forth’ signature collection causing a stir within the industry for its uniqueness and originality. S/S09 collection bombarded the fashion scene with its neutral feeling and finally the A/W 09/10 collection which gave broad fame to the designer for its unique skills and for creating a dress out of 3000 needles..The famous Needle Dress, which up to now has been sent to all the major publication houses. The designer’s work has been featured in various major publications worldwide such as The International Herald Tribune by Suzy Menkes, Greek, Russian & UK Vogue, 10 Magazine and Dazed & Confused, also in Books such as Fashioning Fabrics, Inovative Textiles and 100 New Fashion Designers by Hywel Davies which led to a video commission for showstudio.com.
