For the last couple of years I've often been asked whether I would write another book and I've often replied "perhaps you never know."

Well I've decided to try my hand at writing a children's book. The teacher in me is always trying to bring something of educational value

As a businesswomen over the years I've experienced bias in a sector that's male dominated.👨🏽

On one occasion ️I was working with a partner that I've worked with for years. However egocentric bias was prevalent in that his decision making processes and I found myself in a situation where there was a sense of financial entitlement that was owed to me his business wanted to claim for themselves and tried to justify it to be fair. 🤔

When I challenged him, with the support of the local authority procurement team who thought the decision making and entitlement was unfair I won my case.

Needless to say he did not expect his egocentric bias to be challenged.

I decided to write my fictional romance to raise awareness around the issue of domestic abuse also incorporating the invisible abuse of coercive controlling behaviour that is often not heard of or spoken about.

I'm so happy to be an author at this time. As a Domestic Peace Advocate, my mission has always been to start a movement for women's voices to campaign against domestic abuse by sharing their stories and experiences to help support other women and girls, above all to mitigate the rise of gender-based violence.
