Madrid ❤️

A long weekend in Madrid and my first time visiting. 🇪🇸

There was so much more we could have done and seen, but here’s a little round-up of what we got up to, where we shopped, ate & drank, and a few of the places we really loved.

And thank you for all your tips and recommendations - the BEST time had!

The shopping!

Salamanca is the area for shopping — so many gorgeous little boutiques mixed in amongst all the bigger names.

We started at Serrano Metro and just wandered from there, discovering shops as we went. There are so many beautiful streets and little neighbourhoods to explore, I could quite happily spend a couple of days here doing nothing more than shopping, stopping for lunch and then shopping some more!

Definitely leave plenty of time to wander — some of our favourite finds were the ones we stumbled across along the way. ❤️

The food

The food scene in Madrid is amazing. Everywhere you turned there seemed to be another Michelin-starred restaurant, a cool little tapas spot or a bustling food market.

We had two of the best lunches at HER and Ten Con Ten — definitely book ahead! The tortilla at Casa Dani was quite possibly the best I’ve ever eaten, and we loved dipping in and out of the food markets for little bites and glasses of w**e.

What we enjoyed most was simply wandering around the different neighbourhoods, stopping for a drink here and there and taking it all in.

The Prado was incredible — amazing to see some of the Goyas in real life — and we loved wandering through the beautiful Parque del Retiro.

El Rastro market was fun but hectic, so go prep

First day strolling around Madrid in my new Pek check jacket. A new arrival at POM and bringing back my AllSaints era with some baggy cargos — turns out I’m still very much here for it.

We spent a little time this morning playing dress-up with some gorgeous new POM arrivals and the latest jewellery drop from — straight from Paris 🇫🇷✨

Never happier than having a little shop try-on, mixing new pieces and, of course, adding a jewellery stack (or three).

I have a weakness for… jackets & coats 🤎

Possibly my favourite part of getting dressed in Autumn — and definitely the category I find hardest to resist.

So I’ve pulled together a few that are currently catching my eye: some new-season POM arrivals, a little peek at what’s coming soon, a few high-street hits and some old favourites already hanging in my wardrobe.

The POM Mix • Week 4 🤍

My little Cotswolds hideaway 🤍

There’s something about being in our Stow-on-the-Wold shop that always makes me happy. Surrounded by beautiful things, a slightly slower pace and the chance to have a little moment trying everything on properly.

The rails are constantly changing — a mix of independent brands, new discoveries, special little finds and pieces you might not see everywhere else.
