“Initially released exclusively at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the Nike Air Force 1 Low Off-White MoMA is one the most highly coveted works by Virgil Abloh. Prior to the release, friends and family of the brand were seen with early bespoke samples - regular Black Nike Air Forces customised in what would release months after.
While the colourway is simple, the eye-catching design is signature to the designer’s aesthetic. Featuring a chrome Swoosh, exposed foam lining, zip tie, and Abloh’s signature quotation marks, the MoMA AF1 can be considered somewhat of a blueprint for other Off-White x Nike museum exclusives.
