Fast fashion is the 3rd largest polluter in the world after oil and agriculture. Fast fashion generates 92 million tonnes of waste a year. Globally 80% of discarded textiles are doomed for the landfill or incineration, only 20% are actually reused or recycled. The clothing that ends up in landfills can sit there for 200 plus years and as it decomposes it emits methane a greenhouse gas more potent

than carbon. Gia solves the problem of reducing the impact of environmental waste from fashion by giving waste textiles new life and reducing the ecological footprint on the planet. Our mission is to support United Nations goal number 12.

We specialise in rebirthing vintage silk saris and textiles from India, Pakistan as well as locally and support the practise of keeping age old handicraft traditions alive. Our breakthrough collection has been the Dreamcatcher pant. We LOVE that it was inspired by the 1930s Beach Pyjama! We have sold over 1000 units via pop ups in London and without the support of any 3rd party influencers. Our collections appeal to Goddesses of all shapes and sizes and focus on themes or rebirth, slow and dreaming...
