Today marks one week since the  peaceful protesters were m*rdered in the Lekki Massacre. It is hard watch, easy to ignore and easier to swipe past. From the marches against police brutality in the states, the various injustices all over Africa, to the good is doing for children in the UK, there are countless causes that need attention. It’s a privilege in it self to be able to pick and choose which causes we support.
At The Concept Club we have been planning to do more to give back from the little we have done with , we wanted to kick start come 2021, however what’s going on in Nigeria inspired us to bring attention the only way we know how. We all know the attention the Nigeria jersey always brings every time one is released, so want that same energy of interest to shine a light on what the country is going through RIGHT NOW! The protests have not stopped as the young people of nigeria continue to make a stand for what’s right! Sport is such a powerful tool for delivering a message of who or what you support, wether it is how cool the waves of kanagawa are or what you believe in. Moving forward we will do all we can to bring messages we believe in, through the way we love. -Niran
