PART 2

Working with the team we created a completely new effect with MARBLESIL. Laser cutting the material making the pieces so much more tactile, this developed into a whole new realm of possibilities.

When slicing into the sheets and building them back together, creates an incredible trompe l’oeil effect, something I’m continuously inspired by as an artist and can be seen throughout my work.

This was the second piece of work created for the campaign ‘Run for the oceans’ for highly driven by sustainably and encouraged to work freely, it was such an honour to collaborate with such a great team!

MarbelSil is waterproof, making them great for spillages or outside weather, heatproof, making them great for hot plates, slip proof, which is great for when serving food or drinks and they do not support bacterial growth, making them hygienic for serving.
