Austin engaged in his directional approach to fashion whilst studying at De Montfort University in Leicester, where under the watchful eye of course leader Della Swain he was able to develop a modern luxury collection which was inspired by a love story between rebellious bikers. The collection 'Born to be wild' consisted of printed latex which was a leopard printed kiss, each kiss was printed by t
he designer with love, patent white embossed snake printed leather and fur. The collection which showcased at Graduate Fashion Week 2014 at Earls Court, earned Austin a position at the London College of Fashion after Darren Cabon, Course Director asked Austin to join the prestigious MA Design Technology Menswear MA. After developments during the course, and a clash of opinions, his Masters Collection 'Beverly Hillbilly' was born. Austin will continue to work with creatives on projects, offering advice and directional opinions as well as providing crazy garments for the world to enjoy.
