While fossil fuels are being celebrated in the most outrageous manner by the host of COP29, it is crucial that we remind the world of the ever-growing threat facing our oceans. On September 12, 2001, Sir David Attenborough brought the beauty of the oceans into our homes, only for us to feel deep shame as we witnessed a tortoise struggling to eat a plastic bag. That moment marked the beginning of Supreme Creations and the Bags of Ethics label. Over the past 25 years, we have replaced 30 billion plastic bags with reusable tote bags, and we are now more committed than ever to inspiring conscious consumer behaviour for a plastic-free world.
