We amplify youth voices. We work with communities, creatives, and organisations to create opportunities. And we push for change, from the streets to policy so young people can grow up feeling safe.

Because when you see someone like you choosing a different path, it shifts what feels possible.

We met Shane Grant, and we’ve been inspired by how he shows up since.
He’s not claiming to have all the answers, but through his actions, he’s setting an example and showing others that different paths are possible.

We’re proud to spotlight what he’s doing.

🎥 : Our Knife Crime Crisis documentary brought national attention to the realities behind knife crime, helping to spotlight voices and experiences too often overlooked.

During Knife Crime Awareness Week, it also reminds us that awareness is not just about recognising the issue, but about critically examining how knife crime is discussed.

How young people are portrayed shapes public empathy, policy, and perception.

When young people are reduced to headlines, we stop asking what failed them first.

This is why media literacy and narrative framing matter. The stories we amplify can either reinforce stigma or create space for deeper understanding, challenge taboos, and centre the lived experiences of those most affected.

We believe young people must remain at the heart of these conversations, so conversations about youth violence and knife crime are rooted in truth, dignity, and understanding.

Because how we tell the story helps shape what changes next.

Knife crime doesn’t just end lives.
It stops the future.

When there are safe spaces, strong communities, and people who listen, the direction shifts. Somewhere to go. Someone to talk to. A different path becomes possible.

Don’t Stop Your Future works to amplify the voices of marginalised communities and those most affected by youth violence and specifically knife crime.

This Knife Crime Awareness Week, we’re asking what prevention really looks like.

Follow along this week, as we unpack the realities, and solutions shaping knife crime.

Before , we asked young people about their first live music experience.

For some, it was unforgettable. For others, was a chance to experience live music for free for the first time.

Moments like this matter.

Spaces where young people can feel free, connected, and inspired aren’t just entertainment, they build confidence, community, and a sense of belonging.

At DSYF, we believe young people deserve access to experiences that help them dream bigger, express themselves and feel part of something positive.

Limitless Live created an opportunity for thousands of young people to access live music, see major artists, and be part of something bigger.

Knife crime is falling. But it’s not gone.

Nearly 60,000 knives have been taken off the streets across England and Wales. And deaths have dropped by almost 20%.

That progress matters. And it happened because people refused to look away.

But knife crime isn’t gone and young people are still the most affected, every single day.

This is why Don’t Stop Your Future exists.

To amplify the voices of those most affected by youth violence, and to challenge the lack of opportunities and support behind it.

The DSYF initiative works with a goal of ensuring that young people across the UK have the opportunity to thrive in a future free from violence and fear, realizing their full potential in supportive and empowered environments.

Repost to keep the conversation going.

Big dreams start somewhere.

Harmony dreams of becoming a rapper and making it in the music industry 🌟

But dreams don’t grow on their own.

Through spaces like DSYF, young people have somewhere to go, people to connect with, and the confidence to keep pushing forward.

Because when you’re supported, your future feels possible.
