About the artist:
Jenny Kallin
"I am a retired library conservator who creates art at home from my collection of dolls houses and from items seen in museums.
I have an art degree from many years ago, and even used to hold small art exhibitions as a child, along with my brother. My art was part of family shows at Burgh House with three of our children.
I have also exhibited at Beach Creative in Herne Bay, and at Museums in Maidstone and Basingstoke, and at Bankside.
Currently I have work on show at the House of Smalls in Edinburgh, and of course I have taken part in several group shows at Cave, Pimlico.
My favourite artists are Alfred Kubin, George Cruikshank and Bruno Shulz and I love the drawings of Henry Moore.
I have recently illustrated a book of poems in collaboration with my husband.
Thank you to all at Cave!"
