Deeply honored to have had the opportunity to work with in bringing this vision to life for & on thier special day.

It’s even more special to have had the honour of being featured in

Sacha wears custom Nehru blazer, which was hand embroidered for over 60 hours. The fabric being an experiment, a bespoke weave that bridges two worlds of textile heritage. One side carries intricate florals inspired by South Asian artistry, while the other draws on the legacy of Lancashire, the historic home of checks.

When I showed my collection, he was drawn to the intricacy of Chikankari, a craft defined by painstaking, hand-stitched threadwork. That became the spark. We developed the embroidery using fine hand-threading, creating depth three-dimensional surface.

The piece began to feel like a canvas painting, the longer you look, the more details reveal themselves in the leaves, flowers, and stems. In total, the work took over 60 hours by hand, transforming a simple Nehru into something that feels royal, artistic, and a contemporary ode to heritage. We finished the cuffs with vintage rupee coins from the 1930s, a reminder of colonial history and the trail it left behind, but also a symbol of how the future can look when we reclaim and reframe that past.
