There’s something quite special about
wandering an ancient castle’s corridors in a gown I made myself.

The lace train grazes along the rough stone tiles as I slip up the stairs, and I imagine the Lady of the fortress from 100’s of years ago. I wonder what her gown was like.

The fabrics I use are modern, and her dresses would have been made by a sempstress rather than herself - however they do have one thing in common. Both were made in England ✂️🪡
