UK Woven Selvedge Denim and Heritage Fabrics We weave all of our Selvedge Denim in Lancashire. We’re really passionate about being local and keeping it that way.

Lancashire is the traditional home of the UK cotton industry and our partner mill and the family that run it has been weaving cotton there since 1907. When we first started out on the road of making denim locally we did so because we wanted to be sure that our denim was not going to impact on the environment. The pursuit of an ecologically and ethically sound denim was and still is paramount. The

reason being is that we want to make a future for our manufacturing industry and keep alive the opportunity it may hold for future generations. So, if you love Denim, British Manufacturing, things that last, please do get in touch, as it would be great to meet you. Cheers

Ravensbourne X Kingpins Show Denim Innovation project is now in its sixth year. This ground-breaking university project tasks Year 2 BA Hons students from three courses to collaborate and create a denim brand from start to finish in ten weeks from concept through to finished garments and branding. This 2020/21 year group focus was on sustainability.

For a number of years, Chris Hewitt our owner and founder has been sponsoring this project. This year we sponsored the project with two of our fabrics -

Loom-state Cotton warp/Linen weft Selvedge and some super soft 100% cotton selvedge.

Last week we were one of the Denim Industry judges on the project.
our sponsored Group was: 362

out of the 15 groups - our group 362 won Best Marketing and Social media campaign - We were very proud to be apart of this project.
