Failed by the system, and having made a number of poor life choices as a youth, Derrick Twum, the founder of M.E.M, was incarcerated in a state penitentiary. It was here that the roots of M.E.M began; choosing to better his life through sports and education over a life of increasing criminality
M.E.M was born, centred around three key principals: To Mentor| Educate| Motivate at risk youths to take
