Meet Elisabeth Rasmussen.
Filmmaker. Writer. Sámi. Cancer survivor. Fearless truth seeker.

For almost ten years, Elisabeth followed one man’s search for stardust - tiny particles that have travelled through the universe for billions of years.

Along the way, her own life changed dramatically. After a cancer diagnosis and a long treatment journey, she is today five years cancer-free and healthy.

Her film became not only a story about where we come from, but about how we choose to live while we’re here.

It is a film about wonder, curiosity and the idea that science is for everyone. That we are not separate from nature or the universe, but part of something much bigger. That everything is connected.

It’s about resilience. About asking questions. And about learning to see ourselves and the world around us with new eyes.

Elisabeth and our founder Anette have known each other since their school days in Tromsø, making this collaboration particularly personal one for us.

We’re honoured to share Elisabeth’s story as part of our As We Are Now series.

We Are Stardust has its Norwegian premiere on August 24 in Haugesund. ✨
