Fitting pics with 🧡 In collaboration with and / I created this look for the WAFSA accelerator project - exploring sustainable and circular practices as a Middle Eastern creative.

For this project, I researched and explored zero waste pattern cutting, sourcing recycled fabrics and trimmings, utilising deadstock fabrics and garments and of course sustaining my culture, faith and heritage in a world that’s trying to disregard the beauty of it🧡

I literally made everything in a week but it all came together! Even though you were on the otherside of the world, a huge thank you to for advising me throughout the whole project on the importance of sustainability, culture and design!🙏🏽

Thank you to everyone who supported me this time!! I was so unorganised and threw anything I had in the moment into a suitcase the morning of my flight - but despite circumstances, I’m always grateful for every opportunity 🧡 alhamdulillah

We sold out in jerseys with .salaam - to raise money for Palestine 🇵🇸, told everyone to visit Sheffield as always, sold some clothes and repped community values hard 🙏🏽

Grateful I got to bring my gida’s living room to London fashion week 🇾🇪

A super wholesome event with bakhoor, everybody sitting on the floor drinking Adeni shahi, a documentary of everyone in Sheffield, books with written answers from my local community, clothes with embroidered quotes from my community & biscuits to raise money for Morocco - thank you to everyone who came and watched the whole film 🥹

Thank you to - Zainab and her family stayed up making biscuits for the event and 100% of proceeds were donated to support victims of the earthquake 🙏🏽 you can order from them now!

Thank you to @24.karak for the Adeni shahi - wallah it tastes just like my gida’s!!! Everyone was addicted to it! As soon as I found out I could drink Yemeni tea in east london, I was literally at their shop everyday for a whole year 😭😭 they literally met my whole family and always looked after us 💕🙏🏽

Add event planner to the credentials😭😭😭 organising everything by myself was crazy but alhamdulillah we got to represent something deeper than fashion 🥹🧡
