Lavenham The home of British quilting, garments are manufactured in-house at our factory in Suffolk, UK.

Created in Suffolk, England in the early 1970’s, it was the very first garment we made - shortly after developing the world’s first nylon quilted horse rug.

Originally designed for riding and stable work, it kept the body warm while allowing complete freedom of movement.

Before long, its practicality, durability and understated style carried it beyond the yard and into everyday wardrobes.

Today, we still make our gilets in Suffolk, England, holiday to the same standards of craftsmanship and quality.

This Spring we see a new interpretation of our Classic Teynham Jacket - quilted but without wadding for lightweight wearability as we transition between seasons.

Mesh lined for functionality and comfort and with eyelets for breathability it’s made from our signature Recycled Lavenster. Traditional cord bindings have been replaced with a lighter self binding and a robust Cotton Twill collar.

The quilt pattern references the first products our founder Mrs.Elliott developed - Horse Rugs.

Launched in a tonal colour palette for SS26 - Rosin Green, Sable Black and Natural Clay.
