With the government's announcement of Lockdown #2, we regret that we have to close our doors again from this coming Thursday for a minimum of 4 weeks. We have a few appointments available up until close of business on Wednesday night. Please phone us on 0207 626 3831 to discuss availability if you would like to visit before lockdown. As Covid-19 restrictions are lifted and 'non-essential' shops begin to reopen we are extremely pleased to announce that Couch & Hoskin will reopen on Monday 6th July.
We have studied the Government guidelines for ‘non-essential retail’ and given the services we offer and the restrictions placed on the use of fitting rooms, we feel we should follow the directive and scientific advice aimed at ‘personal care’ businesses. This will allow us to offer private consultations and fittings for our bespoke and made-to-measure range in a safe and friendly manner.
We have a full range of PPE and procedures in place for staff and customers. Initially, we ask that you make an appointment to visit so that we can maintain social distancing in the shop and give you our undivided attention.

Our doors may be shut but Couch and Hoskin suits are still making news! Beatrice Behlen from the Museum for London recently exhibited a vintage Couch and Hoskins creation from circa 1934 as part of their video collection. Citing it as one of her favourite suits in the Museum of London collection, Beatrice comments on the exceptional attention to detail paid by the tailor in matching up the check and draws attention to the more... ‘practical’ sartorial choices made by the suit's owner!
